Digital channels

Digital channels include email, SMS and social. Depending on the digital outlet, PeopleStage can gather details regarding individual interactions with the communication – including the number of bounces, opens, clicks – as well as what links have been clicked.

For social media such as Facebook, you can gather 'Likes' and 'Comments' to a post that PeopleStage has uploaded but it is only possible to gather the information if the message recipient has given permission to do so.

To gather responses, and link responses back to an executed campaign, PeopleStage must be in control of the send of that campaign. This means that PeopleStage must both upload the list and be in control of the broadcast within the ESP (Email Service Provider).

Other response gatherer engines

Social media and SMS response gatherers work in a similar way to the FastStats Email Response Gatherer (FERG). PeopleStage pulls responses from the provider via an API connection. The type of broadcaster determines what information is pulled back into PeopleStage and made available for you to use.
